Changes in IBPS Exam Pattern 2015

Institute Banking Selecting Personnel (IBPS) has published the official notification for the upcoming recruitment examination called Common Written Examination (CWE) for the post of Probationary Officers (PO) in participatory organizations and Office Assistants in Regional Rural Banks (RRBs).



Candidates are advised to check the changes in the exam pattern in these CWEs for the post of PO and Clerks this year that are being incorporated in this year. They may go through the official notification for the same.



Changes in exam pattern

  1. Henceforth two-tier examinations for recruitment of PO/MT and Clerks from CWE-V.
  2. Candidates who successfully register themselves under CWE PO/MT-V and CWE CLERK-V would be called for the Preliminary Examinations.
  3. Candidates would be shortlisted for each of the examinations based on their performance in the preliminary examination.
  4. There would be fewer numbers of questions in the Preliminary Examination with shorter duration.
  5. Candidates who crack the prelims would be called for the Main Examinations.
  6. Details of both the Preliminary and Main examinations would be made available on the official website of IBPS through the detailed notifications in due course.
  7. Marks obtained in the Preliminary examinations would not be taken into consideration while declaring the final merit list.
  8. Marks obtained in the Main Examination would only be considered for shortlisting for the interview session.
